July 1, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

The Dolphin AM caught 35 Barracuda, 40 Calico Bass, 100 Calico Bass released, 6 Rockfish, 1 Sheep Head, and 1 White Seabass for 30 anglers. 

The Dolphin PM caught 71 Calico Bass, 100 released Calico Bass, 4 Sheep Head, and 6 Sand Bass for 34 anglers. 

The Pacific Queen caught 38 Bluefin Tuna, 2 Yellowfin Tuna, and 6 Yellowtail for 34 anglers on their Overnight Trip.

The Outrider called in with LIMITS of BluefinTuna (22) they are 20 to 40 pounds and they also had 8 Yellowtail for 11 anglers on thier Overnight trip.

The Liberty called in from their full day charter with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna 20 to 40 lbs. for 16 anglers. 

The Tomahawk returned with 1 Bluefin Tuna and 9 Yellowtail for 21 anglers on their Extended 1.5 Day trip.

The Pegasus returned with 5 Bluefin Tuna (100#+) for 13 anglers on their 1.5 Day trip. 

The Condor returned  with 1 Bluefin Tuna for 26 anglers on their 1.5 Day trip.

Bight Sportfishing called in with 2 Bluefin Tuna (135# &155#) on the boat and 1 hanging for 2 anglers.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 49 Calico Bass, released 100 Calico Bass, 5 Sheephead, 1 Barracuda, and 9 Rockfish for 36 anglers. 

The Dolphin PM trip caught 81 Calico Bass, released 100 Calico Bass, 7 Rockfish, 2 Sheephead, and 1 Barracuda for 33 anglers. 

The Liberty caught 51 Bluefin Tuna (20-60#) and 9 Yellowfin Tuna on their Full Day Offshore trip for 36 anglers.

The Searcher returned this AM  from their 1.5 Day trip with 5 Bluefin Tuna 120lb - 200lb. 

The Pacific Queen returned this AM with 15 Bluefin Tuna all over 100+lb for 34 anglers on a 1.5 Day trip. 

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
