July 1, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

07/09/2020
The Condor called in with 1 Bluefin Tuna for 26 anglers on their 1.5 Day trip. 

The Tomahawk called in with 1 Bluefin and 9 Yellowtail for 21 anglers on their 1.5 Day.

The Pegasus called in with 5 Bluefin @ 100lb + for 13 anglers on their 1.5 Day. 

Bight Sportfishing called in with 2 Bluefin Tuna (135# &155#) on the boat and 1 hanging for 2 anglers.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 49 Calico Bass, released 100 Calico Bass, 5 Sheephead, 1 Barracuda, and 9 Rockfish for 36 anglers. 

The Dolphin PM trip caught 81 Calico Bass, released 100 Calico Bass, 7 Rockfish, 2 Sheephead, and 1 Barracuda for 33 anglers. 

The Liberty caught 51 Bluefin Tuna (20-60#) and 9 Yellowfin Tuna on their Full Day Offshore trip for 36 anglers.

The Searcher returned this AM  from their 1.5 Day trip with 5 Bluefin Tuna 120lb - 200lb. 

The Pacific Queen returned this AM with 15 Bluefin Tuna all over 100+lb for 34 anglers on a 1.5 Day trip.

The Searcher called in with an update from their 1.5 Day trip with 5 Bluefin Tuna 120lb - 200lb. 

The Pacific Queen called in with 12 Bluefin Tuna all over 100+lb for 34 anglers on a 1.5 Day trip. 

The Dolphin PM caught 106 Calico Bass and 9 Sheephead for 36 anglers.

The Dolphin AM caught 81 Rockfish for 31 anglers.

The Islander finished with 8 Bluefin Tuna from 120 to 280 pounds.

The Royal Polaris returned this AM with 15 Bluefin Tuna (100-277#) and 1 Oil Fish (25#) from their 1.5 day trip.

The Tomahawk returned this AM with 1 Bluefin and 1 Yellowtail for 16 anglers on thier 1.5 day. 

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently
