Well its still ok to go fishing we have some great spots on both sides of the Colorado river. Up on Lake Mohave near the dam has been doing well and I did hear that some striper boils in that area. the shore line around the Davis dam can and has been a popular spot for anglers. this area produces some nice striper catches and the shallows usually get some large mouth bass activity. Trolling in the Nevada side telephone cove area can produce some nice size stripers. The shelves are usually a small mouth bass haven. I did hear that the coves around the power lines have had some striper boils so watch for the birds or the ripples in these areas. Below the Davis dam the striper action is picking up. the shore line near the dam and along the casino area has been doing well in the evening. Our local anglers Chris and Landen Vasquiz were fishing with Ben Aleman  on Bens boat they were drifting using anchovies. this size stripers are mostly what we are finding with some of the bigger fish waiting to get to that bait. just a reminder to set that drag have a good knot so we can share your catch with others. WE were a bit slow for a few days but the bite is picking up again. Hope this helps some for now and we will see you in soon to share your catch
