First light Shasta salmon!

Today was a day off for me so i took the opportunity to fish for a few hours with my wife and daughter, Gracie.  Our first fish of the morning (pictured) came across the gunnel just minutes after setting lines.  Gracie did a great job of fighting and landing her biggest King salmon of the summer so far.  The bite slowed after an hour or so and we were back at the launch by 8:00 am.  We got bites non stop again this morning, but we didn't see many big fish bites like yesterday.  Every day is different and a day off deserves a rest after a long week, and many more busy weeks ahead.  Our best bite came on the Brad's Kokanee cut plugs and the Mini cut plugs stuffed with Pautzke Bait Co. anchovy Fire Gel Scents.  Most of the Kings were caught between 40'-50' trolling 2.0 mph.  Tight lines!
