Shasta Kings!

Shasta is in the re building phase of its King salmon fishery, but its well on its way back to becoming a king salmon fishing destination.  We had an excellent day on Shasta today, but we did lose more Kings than usual.  I'll be playing around with some hook combinations next week to try and get these fish to stick a little better.  It could have just been today, but we shouldn't have lost the amount of fish we did.  There are a lot of small Kings in Shasta now, but there are a lot of 3-4 lb kings as well.  With the rainbow bite being a bit slow, we'll surely catch Kings if thats where we decide to go for the day.  Maybe this cool down from triple digits will show us some epic fishing in the next few days.  Tight lines!
