Wild rainbow trout bite is great!

The Sacramento River in Redding has really made some great strides after the big water years in 2017-18.  Now days, its rare to experience really slow days and when the big trout go on the bite, we're seeing some very impressive fish coming to the net.  Whether you are a fly guy or like to fish with spin gear, the chance to hook a big wild trophy trout is available daily.  Now we don't get into trophy trout every day, but its not uncommon at all to hook and land fish over 20 inches.  We have some great flows for power boat trips right now and wiil have them through fall.  We all have our favorite fishery, but I can honestly say this is definitely one of mine.  If you don't mind catch and release fishing, then this is a great option for you!  Thank you!
