Friday, May 1st at 9:00AM is the first day of our phased reopening of the Santee Lakes Day Use Park. In order to accomplish responsible public use, we are implementing a phased approach to ensure we meet San Diego County public health, sanitation and safety mandates. 

This phase limits the capacity of the park and some of the amenities will remain closed. 

Due to the capacity restriction, we cannot allow walk-in guests (including bikes, etc.) during this phase. 

HEALTH ORDERS:
✅ Do not enter the park if you have a cough or fever
✅ Always maintain a minimum of six-foot distance of others, except with those in your family/household
✅ Always have a face covering and wear it if within six feet of others
✅ Do not gather with others, except with those in your family/household

✅ Hours 9:00 AM-5:00 PM daily
✅ Vehicle Entry Only
✅ Restrooms Open
✅ Parking Lot Open at 50% Capacity
✅ No Group Gatherings
✅ Fishing Permit Sales Resume at Gatehouse
✅ Grass Areas open for use by individuals or members of a family/household only
✅ Picnic Areas open for individual use or with members of family/household only
✅ Picnic Areas not available for rental
✅ Playgrounds closed
✅ No Pedal Boat rentals 
✅ No group workouts

All activities with physical-distancing are allowed including jogging, bike riding, roller-skating. A facial covering is not required during physical activities but must be in your possession.
