Lakes 2, 3, and 4 were stocked on the 25th with 1,000 pounds of rainbow trout each. The powerbait and nightcrawler combination still seems to be producing the most fish. Many anglers are also catching fish on spoons. Popular colors of powerbait include chartreuse and chunky cheese. Popular spots include the south shore Lake 2 and the east side of Lake 4 near the restroom. Quinton and Korben caught this rainbow trout out of Lake 2 on powerbait.

 

February 25th was our last stock of trout for this season. Although trout season is coming to an end remember if you catch a trout three pounds or larger you can enter it into our ultimate angler experience drawing until March 31st! Prize includes a reserved area for the 2020 opener, YETI Cooler, Fate Origin fishing rod and reel combo, 2 Coleman folding chairs with side tables, and 2 fishing permits.
