The fishing is so good on the Crooked now, with an afternoon BWO and Midge hatch bringing fish to the top, and great nymphing from the dam to about Mile Post 12.

Skinny Nelson, 2 Bit Hooker, Micro May, Frenchie, Cased Caddis, Perdigons, Scuds and Zebra Midges are awesome at the moment.

On top, #18 Purple Haze, Olive Sparkle Dun, Furminsky BWO, Knock Down Dun, Griffiths Gnat and Midge Winklers.

I do not expect any run off issues this spring, so the water should remain good for the duration of spring (crossing fingers). Low snowpack and lots of room to fill the reservoir are my theory on that. S
