Supercow At Hurricane Bank: Royal Polaris Report
11-30--0001
Bill Roecker
"Our weather continues to be good," read the report from Frank LoPreste's 112-footer January 10, "with a slight breeze out of the northeast, clear skies, and warm. We had an excellent day of fishing. Most of the Yellowfin were in the 140 to 180-pound range, with five going over 200 pounds, and one over 300 pounds.
"Our lucky anglers today were Craig Drummond (318-pound Yellowfin tuna), Taka Tanaka (293-pound Yellowfin tuna), Kim Hofer (252-pound Yellowfin tuna), Susan Gentry (243-pound Yellowfin tuna), Joe Schilling (210-pound Yellowfin tuna), and John Corrigan (203-pound Yellowfin tuna). Wahoo fishing was on the slow side, but the fish we did get were in the 40 to 60 -pound range.
