The PRIDE checked in from their full day trip with 15 anglers catching 68 yellowfin tuna and 8 bluefin tuna. The bluefin were 50-100 pounds and the yellowfin were 18-35 pounds. Captain Jason recommends using #1-1/0 circle hooks and 25-40# line with fluorocarbon leaders. The PRIDE has openings for an overnight trip departing Sunday at 9:00pm.
The TRIBUTE's 1.5 day trip with 28 anglers had boated 14 bluefin and 41 yellowfin by 5:00 pm and were still fishing. The bluefin ranged from 50-100 pounds and the yellowfin were 18-40 pounds including one 60 pounder.
The SAN DIEGO had 100 plus yellowfin and 2 bluefin at sunset with 2 big bluefin going. Their next available full day openings are Monday and Tuesday.
The PACIFICA has a 1.75 day departing Monday morning at 10:00am.
