Halibut Have Been Biting Good

The conditions on the fishing pier have been typical of late summer. Cool mornings clearing up to warm afternoons. We have had some uncharacteristically humid weather recently.
Halibut have been biting at the Ferry Point Pier. Some anglers are also going for striped bass from the shoreline.

11-15-2019Fishing has been moderate, with lots of bites, but predominately undersized stripers. Reminder to boaters: Please check conditions before launching your boat as conditions can change quickly this time of year. Contra Loma Fishing Report
Contra Loma ReservoirTROUT We recommend fishing with Powerbait, lures, or nightcrawlers for the trout. Try fishing at the boat ramp area, or the Channel Point dock areas. Right now the trout seem to be congregating near the swim lagoon. CATFISH Try fishing for catfish at Channel Point or Loma Island with anchovies, nightcrawlers or chicken livers.
