Sac River trout grounds loaded with steelhead/trout
11-6-2019
Jeff Goodwin
Today Justin, Jeff Brady, and I ran a three boat trip on the Sacramento River in Redding. Flows dropped while we were on the water, but we saw a pretty good bite overall. We didnt cover a lot of water, because we didnt need to. There were trout everywhere we fished. Ultralight tackle was the key to the day and stealthy presentations were absolutely the most productive. We had a great group the past few days and everyone seemed to have a great time.
Jeff Goodwin is a full time Northern California fishing guide. He guides year round for salmon, trout, steelhead, Kokanee, and bass on Northern California rivers and lakes.
