Anglers reported good to excellent action on both lakes with Power Bait ( especially Spring Green, lemon twist and Chartruese), night crawlers, jigs and lures all producing limits and some nice over four pound trout. Hot spots included the grassy point, eastern shore and the western shore from the bridge to the pump house of lake 3 as well as the western and northern shores of lake 2.

Catches of the Week: Lloyd Miyashiro of San Dimas scored a 6 lbs 1 ozs rainbow on Garlic Power Bait while fishing the western shore of lake 2. Huntington Beach angler, Tyler Lehto caught a 4 lbs 10 ozs trout using a night crawler-Lemon Twist Power Bait combo on the south western shore of lake 2. Robert Burson of Cerritos reeled in a 5 lbs 7 ozs rainbow on a Trout Teaser near the the logged shore of lake 3. Phil Hilldebrandt of Anaheim caught his 3 lbs 15 ozs rainbow and his limit using a Lip Ripperz Z Spoon on the grassy point of lake 3.Pinion Hills angler, Richard Davidovich caught his 3 lbs 9 ozs rainbow on a crappie jig with a Power Worm tail near the bridge on the northern shore of lake 2. George Frazier of Apple Valley caught a 12 lbs 8 ozs limit that included a 4 lbs 8 ozs rainbow . He used an orange Power Worm and fished the western and eastern shores of lake 3. Chino angler, Armando Acevedo, caught a 4 lbs 2 ozs rainbow on a Trout Teaser while fishing the logged eastern shore of lake 3. Danny Williams Jr. of Rialto caught a 4 lbs 3 ozs rainbow on a Squirt jig-Power Worm combo near the inlets of lake 2.
