Slightly Cooler Temps Slowing Down The Action for Warm Water Fish

10-2-2019
Nevada Department of Wildlife

Slightly cooler temperatures are slowing down the action for warm water fish like catfish, bluegill and bass. Catfish are taking hotdogs and chicken gizzards. The Nevada Department of Wildlife stocked catfish at Sunset Park on Tuesday. The remaining plans were scheduled for Wednesday. The final catfish plant of the year is on tap for the end of October. Anglers are encouraged to discard of unwanted fishing line and tackle in the trash cans provided or in the yellow receptacles located in the parks.
