Action For Bass is Picking Up
10-2-2019
Nevada Department of Wildlife
Action for largemouth and smallmouth bass has picked up in the Cottonwood Basin with the fish chasing silver poppers and watermelon-colored worms. Anglers are finding the black bass along shelves in coves. Over the weekend, anglers using jointed swimbaits caught striped bass in the 10- to 27-pound range near Willow Beach. The lures were trout imitations. Stocked rainbow trout are biting near the fishing pier and below Willow Beach on night crawlers and PowerBait.
