Anglers reported fair to excellent trout action again this week with Power Bait ( especially salmon peach, spring green and orange), night crawlers, jigs, lures and plastics all catching limits. Most trout were near or over 2 pounds with many over 3. Hot spots included the grassy point, the eastern logged shore to the pump house as well as the northern and eastern shore of lake 2.

#1 & 2 Good fishing among friends : Casey Wahl of Apple Valley scored his 5 lbs 2 ozs rainbow on an orange and silver Kastmaster while fishing the northern shore of lake 2 at Jess Ranch Lakes near the inlets. His friend, Josh Cox, also from Apple Valley caught his first fish, a 4 lbs 11 ozs rainbow on a silver Kastmaster. Both managed to limit as well.

# 3 A Brotherly Assist : Nine year old, Adrian Ceja of Rialto caught his 3 lbs 11 ozs and 3 lbs 3 ozs rainbows on spring green Power Bait while fishing with his father and twin brother Juan ( on the right), who helped out with the net at the northern shore near the inlets of lake 2 at Jess Ranch Lakes.

Catches of the Week:
Don Chandler caught a 4 lbs 9 ozs rainbow on a night crawler while fishing the grassy point of lake 3.

Hesperia angler, Tim Wood reeled in a 4 lbs 1 ozs trout on orange Power Bait from the western shore of lake 3.

Tim Blacksher of Ontario caught his 6 lbs 7 ozs on a a Trout Teaser on the eastern shore of lake 2.

Helen Tsuyuki of Los Angeles scored her 3 lbs 15 ozs rainbow on the eastern shore of lake 3 using garlic Power Bait.

Nine year old, Adrian Ceja of Rialto caught his 3 lbs 11 ozs and 3 lbs 3 ozs rainbows on spring green Power Bait while fishing with his father and twin brother Juan at the inlets of lake 2.

Dave Fitton of Riverside reeled in his 3 lbs 12 ozs trout to finish off his 12 lbs limit near the inlets of lake 2. He used Power Bait to catch all of his trout.

Victorville angler, Bill Collinsworth, caught his 3 lbs 1 ozs rainbow on a Bubblegum Power Worm while fishing at the Pump House on lake 3.

Four year old, Garrett Stanford and his dad Matt caught their limits and reeled in 3 lbs 11 ozs and 4 lbs 11 ozs rainbows using orange Power Bait while fishing the eastern shore of lake 3.

Ontario angler, Tim Blacksher, scored a 6 lbs 7 ozs rainbow on a trout teaser while fishing the south eastern shore of lake 2.

Juan Velasco of Riverside caught his limit which included 4 lbs 2 ozs and 2 lbs 9 ozs trout.

Velasco used red, natural and orange glitter Power Worms and fished the western shore of lake 3.

Twelve year old, Jessica Shandor, of Riverside caught her 5 lb rainbow on Spring Green Power Bait while fishing the eastern shore of lake 2 with her grandfather.
