With the full moon and the slight warm up, Anglers had to use a little bit of everything to
catch their limits this week. Reports ranged from fair to excellent action on both lake 2 and 3. Anglers used Power Bait (especially Rainbow, Spring Green, Salmon Peach and Orange), night crawlers ( doused with garlic and attractants), jigs and lures to catch limits. Most trout were near or over 2 pounds. Hot spots included the grassy point, eastern and northern shores of lake 3 as well as the western and eastern shores and inlets of lake 2.

The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round.
This year the Lakes' hatchery is amping up the weekly trout stockings with bigger fish overall.
