Shore Fishing Has Been Great

9-13-2019
Mountain Hardware & Sports

Shore fishing at stampede has been great with the high lake levels and cool surface temps compared to other lakes. Trout fishing will be best mid-morning and again in the early evening. While the Smallmouth bite slows, it should remain an option during the warmest points in the day. Trolling for kokanee will be more or less done for the season as the majority of these fish have started to move into the inlets to spawn. Trolling for trout within the top 10-20 feet of water should improve in the upcoming weeks as fall progresses! 93% Off Cap.

RECOMMENDED GEAR:
Off Shore: Powerbait or worms off the bottom. Kastmasters, spinners, rapalas or soft plastic jigs or worms for bass.
Trolling: top lining flashers and a worm, apex lures, needlefish, rapalas or spinners.
