Thanksgiving Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca: !! Stocking !! with 1,200 lbs of Jess Ranch finest Trout for your angling pleasure. These Jess Ranch trout are outstanding in quality, combined with an attitude for the fight is something to be thank full for. The Trout action has been steady for both bait dunkers and hardware chuckers. With the recent stockings the trout inventory is in your favor!!

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8AM-4PM Saturday 6AM-4:30PM.
SUNDAY 12 noon- 4:30PM !! Wednesday LAKE is CLOSED !!
Trout Bait: 16-20"inch leader, night crawler smeared with scent fished below a bobber, or Rainbow Power Bait fished off the bottom. (Pautzkes Krill gel or liquid Krill scent).
Best Trout Lures: Orange Rapala Yellow Roster Tail, Gold Panther Martin. Use scent (Krill gel works best)
Best Trout Spots: Lone Pine, Shore line below call box, Chambers Park, Trolling entire lake.

Eric Phillips, San Diego, 4lbs 8oz Rainbow, Night crawler, Chambers Park.
Kelly Peterson, Lakeside, 4lbs 3oz Rainbow, Night crawler/ power bait combo, Chambers Park.

Fly Fishing: Some surface action. Try a Matuka or a Wolly Bugger worked slow on the fall.
Nature Walk: The self guided walk is 3 1/2 miles around the lake. The trail is open for daily use.
Free Fishing Class Saturday at 10:AM: Ranger Willard will teach tried and true Trout tactics, along with Crappie and Catfish.
Prognosis:!! With the STOCKING this week just in time for Thanksgiving from Jess Ranch the trout inventory is in the anglers favor. Water temperature has the trout action heating up. Bait dunkers will continue to catch some fine stringers, while trolling with Roster Tails, Panther Martins and Rapalas providing steady action! Come up and share Thanksgiving with us, fishing, picnicking, or just a day in the great outdoors.
THE DECONTAMINATION WASH DOWN IS NOW OPERATIONAL PRIVATE VESSELS ALLOWED AFTER WASH DOWN! A fee is charged.
