The Freelance and the Bongos boats do it again on the ?? day and full day runs on Tuesday the 16th. The Freelance has been making it out with very lite loads targeting the Yellow fin Tuna that have pushed into the area. They had 30 on board yesterday for only 26 anglers going from 20-30+ pounds. They also had 4 Yellowtail and 2 Skip Jack Tuna to round out the day. The Bongos and the Tail Chaser both had full day trips with 5 anglers each for 39 Yellow fin and 1 Dorado between them. The freelance is running ?? day trips Thursday, Friday, and Sunday this week. These limited load trips are at a cost of $75 and depart at 7am.
The Tide Change has trips on Friday and Sunday this week targeting Tuna. Friday he has a 1 Day trip limited to 22 anglers at a cost of $175. On Sunday he has a 1.5 day trip limited to 20 anglers at a cost of $250. These trips depart the night before at 9pm. Give us a call in the office to book your spots before these trips fill up. 9-15-2008The Freelance will be heading offshore Tuesday the 16th for its 3/4 day trip. Some sport boats had some big scores on Yellowfin Tuna just to the south of our harbor and the Freelance is exploring that area today Monday the 15th. The Tide Change has a 1.5 day trip leaving tonight, Tuesday the 9th at 9pm. This trip is limited to 20 anglers at a cost of $250. Capt Jordan has had some great scores of Yellow Fin, Blue Fin, and Albacore tuna for the last few trips to the outer banks and the conditions look the same for this one.
