The Freelance will be heading offshore Tuesday the 16th for its 3/4 day trip. Some sport boats had some big scores on Yellowfin Tuna just to the south of our harbor and the Freelance is exploring that area today Monday the 15th. These Yellowfin Tuna have been in the 15-25 pound range. There is also a possibility of Dorado still posted up on some kelps you may run across. The Freelance will base the rest of the trips for the week on what happens today and tomorrow. They will have lite loads all week with the kids in school so this is a good time for late season ?? day action. The Freelance is also running Twilight trips Thursday-Saturday. These trips depart at 7pm and return at 12am. The Bass have still been the main fish they target but the nights they don't want to cooperate Sculpin have been the fall back species.

The Tide Change also has been getting into the Yellowfin Tuna further offshore for the 1 day trips. The Tuna on these trips have been a larger grade going to 30 pounds. He may even run out to one of the local banks for the Bluefin Tuna that have started to go on the re-bite. The Bluefin Tuna have been smaller, but pull just as hard. He even has a 1.5 day trip leaving Saturday the 20th fishing Sunday the 21st. This trip is limited to 20 anglers at a cost of $250. They have the same game plan as the one day trips, just sticking it out longer for the late afternoon bite.

The Western Pride has continued to sack up fish on the ?? day trips. The ?? day trips are now on fall schedule. Monday-Friday 12:30-5:30pm trips and on the weekends we run the 6am-Noon ?? day in addition to the 12:30 departure time. They are still getting into some Calico bass and Sand bass with some Rockfish starting to show in the counts.

The Caliber is working into the end of the Shark fishing season. They have trips on the books for Saturday the 20th and Saturday the 27th. These trips depart at 6:30pm at a cost of $75. The Makos are still in the area and are ready to go if you are.

It is always a good idea to call and make reservations for any of these great trips. The office opens for reservations at 6am every day. Give us a call at (949)673-1434
