El Buster Fishing Report

The month of September gets off to a good start. Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. Harrell Minzenmayer from Rockport, TX and Rolla Ogle & Richard Sheats from Potter Valley, CA have a fine day. They catch and release a 70 lb. SAILFISH which is caught on a World Famous Black Bart Lure. The lure color was blue & white. It took 25 minutes to get to the boat. They also catch six DORADOS ( 20 - 25 lbs. ) They keep four and release two. On the EL BUDSTER II. The Robert Stevens party from Palm Springs, CA catches and releases two SAILFISH ( 70 & 80 lbs. ) . Both were caught on live Caballitos. The fighting times were 30 & 35 minutes. All the fish were caught about four to six miles off the Los Cabos Arches. The wate r temp. was 84 - 86 degrees.
