We arrived on the bluefin grounds with high expectations and were looking forward to getting in on some of that steady fishing that's been going on. While in search mode & looking hard, the morning flew by when we realized that there was only 1 halfway decent stop for the entire fleet and got the feeling then that we got "bluefinned".
With water conditions basically the same, there were less fish seen and what sign we saw, refused to bite and so unfortunately we experienced the bluefin disappearing act, and endured a day of fish lockjaw.
Why this fishing phenomenon happens??? wish we knew..

Today's goal was for everyone aboard to be able to take a nice wahoo home for the grill Unfortunately, we came up a couple short but there were many other anglers who were fortunate enough to land two or three. Adam Jonas boated the largest one of the day, which weighed a respectable 69lbs. Rolling Up , The Guys ...... Read More
