We put ourselves on the offshore grounds at daylight for the last day of fishing and after having the jigs in the water.... within five minutes the hook ups began. Steady strikes on school size yellowfin tuna kept us busy, one to five at a time all the way up to lunchtime. With one particular stop, we managed to pick up four standout grade yellowfin from 30-47lbs. Not pushing fate, we wound in the jigs just after lunch and headed home.
What a fun way to finish up trip! Capt Bobby Kiso and Jeff Ingram hold up one of the four nice ones picked up today.
A special thanks to the great group of guys that we had the pleasure of fishing and hanging out with for eight days. Last but not least, a big thanks to Mr. Steve Carson, our Penn representative, for sharing his fishing expertise and his great knowledge of the ocean.

Heading home,

The guys

A few rounds...... Read More
