Shasta cleans up after storms!
3-3-2019
Jeff Goodwin
I've fished Shasta Lake the past few days and its getting cleaner and greener! The debris is thinning out and some of the really du=irty water areas have cleared up and turned a shade of green again. The water temps are still a cool 48-49 degrees making for a spotty brown trout bite. We've been catching a lot of bass the past few days, but we've found some nice trout ars well. Cleaner water and a slight warming of the lake should kick off the brown bite anytime now!
