The Freelance continues to find the Dorado on the Kelps in Orange County waters. Depending on the day some of the Kelps have been holding large amounts of fish, including some Yellowtail. There have also been some Yellow Fin Tuna in local waters but they have not really wanted to play much but the full moon may change that. The Freelance will be running Limited Load ?? days on Monday and Wednesday. These trips are limited to 42 anglers at a cost of $95. They will be leaving the dock at 6:30am and returning at 6:30pm. They will be heading offshore for the Dorado and maybe some other pelagic species. Tuesday and Friday the Caliber will be will be running this trip and on Thursday the Tide Change will be running the same trip. The Tide Change and the Caliber are limited to 27 anglers at a cost of $95.

The Tide Change also has some one day trips this week. He is fishing Tuesday the 19th and has a few spots on a private charter Friday the 15th. These trips are at a cost of $175 and limited to 22 anglers. They will be headed offshore targeting Albacore, and Yellow Fin Tuna. They will also stop on some kelps to do some damage on the Dorado also. The outer bank fishing has been red hot so this is the time to get your line wet.

The Western Pride has had some good trips all week. They have caught a few Yellowtail almost every trip this week to keep things interesting. There have also been some 3-4 pound Bonito breezing around in addition to the Sand Bass and Calico Bass. They are running double ?? day trips all week leaving at 6am and 12:30pm.

The twilight trips on the Freelance continue to have some good counts at night on the Sand Bass with some Barracuda also going in the sacks before the sun goes down. They have been fishing in the Huntington Beach area for the most part with a short run to the fish. The Twilight trips depart at 7pm every night. Print this e mail out and receive $10 off any Twilight fare. Valid threw 9/1/08.

The Caliber continues to do well on the Shark Trips. These trips run every Saturday night. They depart at 6pm and are at a cost of $75 limited to 22 anglers. These trips fill up every week so don't delay and make a reservation early. This is going to be a late season so the summer is far from over. Give us a call in the office if you would like to make reservations for any of these trips or if you have any questions.
