Fat Trout action still biting

11/19/18 - Gorgeous day on the water with my client Rand catching and releasing fat Shasta Lake Trout.

Shasta Lake Trout are feeding all over the lake chasing bait and eating bugs off the surface. The best bite is definitely first thing in the morning. Trolling in the upper 30 feet provided the most action. Plugs,  Sep's Dodgers with minnow trailers, Optimizer and BC spoons all dipped in ProCure  Garlic bloody tuna got the Trout to bite.

Trolling slow 1.5mph and trolling fast 4mph didn't seem matter we caught fish at all speeds. Faster speed worked better early in the morning and slower worked better when the sun was on water.

Limits of these tasty fish can be had with a little work but should not be hard to get.
