11/14/18 - This Combo is hard to beat for Fat Shasta Lake Dinner Bows.

Trolling for fat Shasta Lake is still going heading into the Fall/Winter months. Fish gotta eat so give em something they cant pass up. Took a short trip yesterday down to Shasta lake and found a few fish wanting to eat.

Trolling plugs and Sep's with spoons all smothered in Pro-Cure Bloody Garlic Tuna put a few bows in the box for dinner. Trolling 2.5 to 4 mph was ticket speed. Fish are showing from the surface to 100 feet as the lake is cooling off. Surface water temp is at 60 degrees now.

Time to start fishing for those elusive Trophy Shasta Lake Bruiser Browns. These fish are awesome as are the hard fighting Rainbows. Fishing through the holidays is the best way to enjoy them in my book. Haha
