Hesperia Lake Staff
Weather conditions: Nice days (approx. 73-77˚) and cool nights (approx. 45-50˚). We’ve had many clear sunny days, along with some windy days.
Water Temperature: 51˚, Water Level: 100% normal, Clarity: Clear to about 4 feet from shore.
Last stock (1,000 pounds) Catfish: Thursday, 11/8/18
Next stock (1,000 pounds) Trout: Monday, 11/19/18
Hatchery: Superior Catfish Inc, Arvin, CA (Catfish)
Jess Ranch, Apple Valley, CA (Trout)
Average size: Most 1.5 – 2.5 pounds. Several caught were in the 7-10 range.
Top Spots of the Week: Sandy Point, Finger, North Shore
CATCHES OF THE WEEK:
Terry Scott, from Victorville, making his weekly trip to the fishing report, brought in yet another monster. This one coming in at 10.9lb, using Night Crawlers at Catfish Point.
Kody Berry, from Hesperia, landed a HUGE 5 fish stringer coming in at a total of 46lb. The 2 biggest were a massive 15lb and a 12lb catfish using shrimp on Sandy Point.
Nathan Berry, from Hesperia, brought in a solid 5 fish stringer coming in at 35lb. Landed two 8lb, a 9lb, and a 7lb catfish using shrimp also on Sandy Point.
Truc Nguyen, from San Bernardino, reeled in a beautiful 10lb cat using Mackerel over on the Finger.
Jimi & Crystal Baladez, from Rancho Cucamonga, brought in solid 10lb & 7lb catfish using a combo of Shrimp & mealworms.
