Fish Report for 10-8-2018

Sight Fishing is a Good Way to go out There Right Now

10-8-2018
Jim Reid

We had received mixed reports from the pond this week with some anglers getting into 7 or 8 fish for a half day and others only getting to 1 for a half day.  The weeds are still a little bit of an issue but if you cruise around a bit there are some clear areas where they are not a problem.  The anglers who were the most successful were catching fish on small leech patterns and some dry/dropper rigs. Sight fishing is a good way to go out there right now.  Sometimes the fish out there can be pretty picky and it takes several fly changes sometimes to figure out what they want to eat.
