Hi Gang,

Not much for us to report in the fish department yesterday as we basically traveled north all day. We did stop on a few spots along the way and picked up a few yellowtail but we never found anything of signifigance to work with. Our chefs started the day out with an incredidble breakfast of eggs benedict that was delicious. I cannot say enough about what a great job our chefs are doing on this trip. Our head chef Brian is really coming into his own and his assistant Chasen has been on point with hospitality and keeping up with the front of the house. We are very grateful to have these guys as an intrigual part of our team. I have posted pictures of the crewmembers new to our team. Crewman /engineer Mike Loust, licensed crewman Austin Chavez, and our galley assistant extrordinaire Chasen Keller. I worked with Loust on the Excel a number of years ago and I can honestly say that he is one of the hardest working guys I've ever seen. We could not have done the work we did on this boat this year without him. Austin Chavez spent the last few years working under Buzz Brizendine on the Prowler and recently obtained his captains license. Chasen Keller started working with us at the end of our long season last year and has proven himself a valuable asset to our galley staff. We have assembled a great team of guys on here and we are very excited about the year to come. Also, we are 5 days into this trip and all of our new equipment is running flawlessly. Life is good. Thanks for checking in, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
