Hi Gang,

We arrived at our first destination right at 0930. We began hooking yellowtail almost right away with most of the fish being in the 15 to 25 pound range. Although there was a decent amount of fish around, the conditions were not that good and it was tough to get a bight. A few anchor jobs later we found some good action. It was not a slam dunk but we did end up putting together a very nice day. Most of our fish were 15 to 25 pounds with a few bigger and some smaller. We ended up catching five different species of gamefish today which included 2 striped marlin (all released), a good amount of yellowtail, 4 bluefin tuna, 1 yellowfin tuna, and 1 white seabass. A very fun day and a great start to our trip. We are excited about what tomorrow brings. Our chefs amazed us all with another spectacular dinner tonight that was somehow better than the night before.
