The boat returned at 6am this morning with a great variety of fresh fish - everything from Albacore to Bluefin to Yellowtail to Dorado to Halibut hit the deck....gently.... Thanks to Al Tokunaga and Eddie Wong for putting this one together and to everyone who joined the San Fernando Japanese American Fishing Club guys. Also thanks to The Gaydoshs for supplying answers to all the fishing/boat history questions you were asked during the voyage - we were honored to have you with us.

Jackpot winners:
1st place: George Iwamoto 41.4 lbs Halibut
2nd place: Dennis Ludington 39.0 lbs Albacore
3rd place: John Ito 37.8 lbs Yellowtail
Honorable Mention: Dick Gaydosh 35.6 lbs Yellowtail

The boat departed with the 6th annual Crystal Pier Charter. Jim Bostian kicked it off with the traditional large platters of Sushi, coming down the dock. Stay tuned in and we'll keep you posted on their trip.

What Happened? We started out on the tuna grounds with very high expectations. Reports from the previous day were very good with excellent sign of fish from the whole fleet.
