What Happened?

We started out on the tuna grounds with very high expectations. Reports from the previous day were very good with excellent sign of fish from the whole fleet. The morning started out great with several short stops lined up back to back. Right about the time we thought it was going to be easy(what were we thinking?) the fish disappeared. For someone to say that they swam away, went down or just plain evaporated is just an opinion not fact because as far as we know nobody has talked to a fish lately. The fact of the matter is that when we don't see the fish, it makes them hard to catch. We ended up scratching for our 51 albacore and 8 bluefin tuna...which was made possible by our talented fishing group.

Al Tokunaga and the SFVJAFC once again put together a great group and we would like to thank him. Sorry for no daily picture as we kept waiting for the big hit.
