Big Hungry
The New Lo-An reported a couple handfuls of Yellowtail offshore with some large Bluefin Tuna in the area. The Bluefin are in the 100 pound range. Check back with us to see if they get any of these brutes on the boat...
The Mission Belle called in with 5 Yellowtail, 34 Whitefish, 21 Rockfish, 3 Sculpin and 1 Calico Bass for their Full Day Coronado Islands trip.
The Point Loma called in with 4 Yellowtail, 22 Rockfish, 8 Whitefish, 4 Calico Bass and 1 Lincod for their Full Day trip.
The Daily Double called in with 36 Rockfish and 1 Sculpin for their am 1/2 Day trip.
The Daily Double called in with 57 Rockfish, 36 Sculpin, 7 Sand Bass, 1 Whitefish and 1 Sheephead for their pm 1/2 Day trip.
The Josie Lynn returned from their overnight charter with 26 Rockfish for their 3 passengers.
Upcoming ½ day & Full Day Trips:
The month May is “Kids Fish Free” with one full paid adult fare! The Daily Double is scheduled daily at 8:30 am for 1/2 day trips to the local kelp beds and other hot spots. Saturdays they run 2 trips with the second trip leaving at 3:00pm and returning at 8:30pm. Ticket price is $50 for adults, $40 for seniors or active duty military and $35 for juniors 15 and under. California fishing license and equipment rentals are extra.
The Mission Belle is scheduled daily for their full day trip at 6:00 am fishing at the Coronado Islands in Mexico. This trip will be targeting Yellowtail, Bonito, Bass and Rockfish. Ticket price includes your Mexican fishing license and tourist visa. A valid passport or passport card is required for all passengers going on this trip.
The Point Loma will be offering “local” ¾ day trips starting in June. Ticket prices are $85.00 for adults and $75.00 for juniors, seniors and active duty military. This trip will be fishing the local kelp beds and other hot spots in California. Departure time is 6:30am with a return time around 4:30pm. A California fishing license will be additional. No passport required for this trip.
