Finally, a new spark in the fishing from Mazatlan, especially with the dorado fishing at the buoys. It appears that more & more sailfish are now showing up, but not overly eager to bite just yet. Overall counts for 27 days fished in the offshore waters reflected 8 sailfish, 3 yellowffin tuna and 71 dorado and the inshore super pangas reporting in for 10 days fished reflected limits of dorado (many releases) 43 pargo, 12 corvina, 12 cochitos & 49 mojarras.

Mazatlan Climate: Partly cloudy days, warm and humid, temps from 74 nights to 86 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Good water temps, ranging from 85 inshore to 86 offshore, with blue water at about 10 miles.

Best Bait/Lure: Slow trolled rigged mullet working best
