McKenzie River Log Update
4-9-2018
Oregon State Marine Board
The heavy rain was great for the Deer Creek obstruction...high water flows helped move the tree close to 70 degrees on river right. River left provides clear passage. Many thanks to everyone involved in helping mitigate this obstruction and a hats-off to Mother Nature!
High water events mean more debris. If you plan on venturing out over the next couple of days, keep a sharp lookout for trees, stumps, root wads and other floating debris. Report any navigation obstructions that prevent safe passage to your local sheriff's office marine patrol. Also, remember to wear your life jacket!
