BIG day on Shasta Lake!
2-28-2018
Jeff Goodwin
Today we fished Shasta Lake with the intent to target big Browns and rainbows. We caught plenty of rainbows, but the big ones didnt want to play. The browns, on the other hand, were out and about again today and we managed to land several (6) again today. We added a few new colors to the spread today and it really paid off. We'd already landed a few great browns, but the new colors triggered a new bite and Arnold and Mark landed a big brown double. I'm hoping for a few days to regroup and to let this winter storm pass. I'll be back at it again in March! Call me or shoot me a message if you want to get in on this great late winter trout fishing!
