Chetco steelhead for the BBQ

Mario Gomez

Tim came up to test his luck at some chetco steel and looks like he had a pretty good day. Guide Shane Blair put the guys on some fish and sounds like they even got to experience a plug plow down. Thx Shane for helping out, good times on the river and getting away from the hustle is what IGS is all about. The rivers are all dropping and getting clear and hard to fish but if you put in the work and get lucky this could be you.

The fish have been a little leary do to the low water conditions but drop your presentations down in size and fish the choppy water. Side drifting yarn and eggs has been the go to for most of our guides but don't be afraid or unprepared to try different things.
