Mario Gomez
This last week has been a little tuff for the fisherman. The rivers are getting low and clear and you have to work really hard for your bites. I spent the last week fishing the Klamath and the Umpqua and the results have been pretty similar. We have been getting 3 to 6 adult steelhead a day and a few half pounders in between on the klamath. The fish have been hitting the yarn balls pretty good and once they start feeling the pressure we drag some soft beads through the holes to try and entice the leary fish. We have completely booked our winter steelhead season through march so if you want to get into my boat it will have to wait until my rogue river spring chinook season
