Troller’s continue to lay into trophy size rainbow trout. The best
lures continue to be the speedy shiners and Kastmasters along with
GVF Lure flashers and Golddigger combos as well as a Rainbow Serpent
Spoon. Most of the action took place in the top 10 feet of water.
Mount Lassen trout farm delivered 1800 pounds of rainbows on their
latest trip to the lake splitting their load three ways with 600
pounds to the pond and both the north/south ramps. Some largemouth
bass showing to over 8 pounds in weight taken on a rip bait with
treble hooks.
