Earlier this year, during "The Battle of the Landings" Halibut Derby, I had the pleasure of meeting Dean and his lovely wife Candy aboard the Aloha Spirit out of Captain Hook's Sportfishing. On our way in, Dean mentioned that he charters Shawn Steward's boat every month and invited me out to enjoy a day of fishing with a great group of avid fishermen. Fortunately, I was able to take him up on his invite this month and we shared a great day fishing on our favorite boat. The plan was to go down County Line in search of exotics and those Calicos that we all know and love. We covered a lot of ground and managed to land a few exotics, but all of us enjoyed another great day out on the water! I'd like to thank Dean and Candy for having me out and giving me the opportunity to fish with Team Fuego! Here's to meeting great people at the rail!
