The guys finished up on the outside with more of the same caliber action boating the big fish of the voyage during the final hours. A 277 rounded out the action before they packed it up and headed for the inside time permitting. As it turned out time did permit a full fledged effort but the sea didn’t yield. Nothing, nada, zilch. In an ironic twist not lost to our sense of humor the barren sea made it very easy keep going assured that we missed nothing by executing the game plan set forth this voyage. That settled the guys are now cruising toward the beautiful “Land’s End” on schedule to arrive in the early am tomorrow.

On another front time on our hands next week and beyond allows us to schedule Royal Star for at least one 1 1/2 day voyage next weekend (Fri - Sun, the 19th - 21st) to take advantage of the continuing opportunity at catching bluefin tuna within 100 - 120 miles offshore. The guys on the Big X saw fantastic sign at 90 miles a couple of days prior and the sign of jumbos just below that last week was stellar. At the Winter price of $425 all inclusive (meals, permits, visa’s, etc.), and limited to 25 anglers, this voyage is a great opportunity to enjoy some time at sea targeting local bluefin Royal Star style.
