The Department of Fish and Game planted catchable-size trout this week in the following area waters: Butte County- Big Butte Creek; Plumas County- Bucks Lake, Jamison Creek, Middle Fork Feather River; Tehama County- Deer Creek, South Fork Battle Creek; Shasta County- Baum Lake, Grace Lake, Hatchet Creek, lower-middle-upper Burney Creek, McCumber Reservoir, middle-upper Hat Creek, Sacramento River; Siskiyou County- Bass Lake, Butte Creek, Castle Lake, Cold Creek, Greenhorn Reservoir, Juanita Lake, Kangaroo Lake, Kelly Lake, Lake Shastina, Lake Siskiyou, Lily Pad Lake, Orr Lake, Sacramento River, south fork Sacramento River, Wagon Creek.

Hello Anglers,
Today was a much better day of fishing. We had solid action on good sized yellows at the islands. The fish were mostly 18-25 pounds and we caught them on just about everything. Good afternoon folks. We left last night after a couple of nice days fishing. Yesterday the Jack Pot was settled with Leo Reihsen ,after a long ride in the Skiff landed a 286. Followed by Al Jackson with a 266 and winning him an Accurate Boss reel. Jesse Baker came in with a 235 and Bob Cherry with a 207.
