Fish Report for 9-9-2017

Cisco's Report: Saturday 9/9

9-9-2017
Channel Islands Sportfishing

Another good day of fishing the Channel Islands. Again, the Yellowtail came out to play with even a hand full of White Seabass in the mix. That is two days in a row we’ve seen Seabass in our count when we had thought they had up and left. The Calico Bass bite was said to be outstanding with some really big ones caught this afternoon. Otherwise, the bottom fishing was as solid as ever with hard fighting Whitefish in the shallows and assorted Rockfish being caught a little deeper. Also, we again had great weather out there. Basically, it was a knock out day!

Today’s Fish Count: 9 Boats and 200 Anglers

49 Yellowtail, 4 White Seabass, 100 Calico Bass, 2 Bonito, 10 Barracuda, 1 Perch, 80 Lingcod, 7 Sheephead, 280 Whitefish, and 1,030 Rockfish.
