This past week we had strong west winds for three days and the temperatures dropped in a way that in the mornings it was cool like last month, all this cause that the Dorado was lost from the places where we were capturing it. To make matters worst after these winds, we had winds of the north from Sunday to this Tuesday, the weather has been improving, this morning the sea was calmed with pleasant temperature s 72?? to 92?? F.

Yellowtail, last week and this week we have had a regular fishing time, I mean that they have not been able to capture because they have much to eat like squid and sardine schools, between 2 and 3 pieces of them when you have luck and with a weight of 25 to 30 pounds, these events have happened in Carmen island to the east of Loreto like a 18 miles and in the sites like the Loto, from puero la lancha bay and the east side from el Pardo point.

Bajo de San Bruno schools of Yellowtail have been reported eating squid in the surface but with bad fortune because they do not want to bating.

Dorado due to the cold weather we had last week we lost them by several days and it was not until last Tuesday when we located them to 22 miles to the east of Loreto in a current with a lot of seaweed and with a temperature of 79 to 82 F.

Captures of good size with weight until of 45 pounds have been obtained and in good number of them.

Today I am listening by the marine radio that we are having problems to caught, they are in the same area but nevertheless they do not want to cooperate today.

Squid are being varies in large schools on the island in such a way that through the mornings when you are going to fish you can go to the beach of the island and take the squid for bait.
