The weather this week, most of the days of this week were sunny and calm in the morning, during the afternoon the south breeze. Temperatures between 70 to 93.

Sunrise 6:30 and sunset 8:07 p.m.

Yellowtail, the best captures for this week were registered north of Carmen Island, and this is due to the big sardine schools found in the surface on a 5 miles area and this keep the yellowtails eating on the surface.

Some days good captures were registered for up to 5 pieces of them but sometimes maybe they are to full they are not interested in live bait, or any kind of artificial lures. Weight between 20 to 35 pounds.

Dorado, this week captures were registered in different sites: 25 to 30 miles east of Loreto, 30 miles north of Loreto and in a very good size, some of them weighting more than 45 pounds and the boat with more captures had 12 pieces. The Dorado's have been located in water current in the surface between 80 to 85 degrees generally, in this water currents are where those have seaweed.

Marlin, good amount of these fish have been seen jumping like a show to watch and some times the clients want to enjoy the good fight like the one we had last Saturday and we had the opportunity to capture a 120 pound marlin and we captured it with line of 30 pounds monofilament.

This week we showed you a picture of Mr. Lance Brown with last Saturday's capture a 120 pound Striper Marlin.

Mackerel: Available on Coronado or from Loreto, catching your own or buy it
