Boom or bust was the set up, and bust it was.  Flat calm conditions - no wind at all - made for an easy time of it as we plowed north turning over every stone in our path. The stretch of ocean we traversed is nothing more than a conduit so far this season channeling transient schools to the promised land north. Though we landed very little in the way of apex gamefish the day was far from a bust. Epic coastal scenery, beautiful weather and conditions, stellar fishing for Calico Bass, and an intimate introduction to the spectacular, rugged coast of Southern Baja that a relative few anglers have the opportunity to enjoy made the day special and appreciated by all.
