Channel Islands Sportfishing
Today we had some great fishing at the islands with a huge variety of fish caught. Everything from local island Calico Bass and Barracuda to Yellowtail and even some White Seabass. Of course we had a lot of bottom fish in the mix but with such great weather and big schools of game fish around, our boats are putting in a lot of time fishing the surface species. At the out islands we had three boats head out with the game plan of fishing Rockfish early and catching the White Seabass on the tidal bite. From the looks of things, that was a great plan because they caught a bunch of White Seabass as they had hoped. Overall, an outstanding day and between the weather and the fishing, it looks promising for the next several days.
